6 month old (already)...

Cash turned 6 months old last Tuesday (sniff, sniff). My little butterball is growing up so fast. You hear everyone tell you they will and you nod your head, as if to say "I know". But you truly have no idea until they are here and growing up at warp speed before your very eyes.
He has his doctors appointment Monday so his "official statistics" will be posted when we know the damage :)
Things he's doing...
  • Crawling EVERYWHERE. No place is off limits and the more you tell him "No!", the more he wants to go there. Typical kid.
  • Pulling up to stand on anything he can get his hands on. He pulls himself up on toys, furniture, people, and his crib (which we had to lower because he was hanging over. Yikes!)
  • Eating fruit now that we have gone through all of the veggies. I must say though, he is not a big fan of eating baby food. He would much prefer to eat off of big people's plates. He gags most of the time when we feed him baby food, but we are still working on it.
  • Says "Dadada" and "Bababa". Not sure he knows exactly what he is saying yet, but still pretty cute just to listen to him babble. He's not saying "mama" yet, but we are avidly working on that.
  • Chases Duke the dog around the entire house and bugs him to death.
  • Still hasn't cut any teeth yet, but you can feel a little bump on the bottom where one is trying to come in.
  • Laughs constantly
  • Loves to be held and to give kisses, however sloppy they may be.
  • Has started the horrible habit of waking up a couple of times a night and crying for an hour or two. We go in there and check on him and change him and then put him right back in bed. He has been crying less and less so he is learning to put himself back to sleep again.
  • Still loves being naked. Literally one of his favorite things. But word on the street is that some other little blonde-haired, blue-eyes beauty enjoyed baring it all when she was younger (maybe it's genetic?)
  • Wearing 6-9 month clothes but is making his way more toward the 9-12 month section. Although, he is rocking some 12 month clothes but he looks a little like a gangster when he wears them.

I'm sure there is more, but at 6:30 in the morning that is all that I can come up with right now.

Love,

E
