A weekend at the Norman Music Festival...

Cash was out of town this weekend, so it was just the little princess around to soak up all of the attention. It is always special to get one-on-one time with one of the babies, so we wanted to take advantage of it as best we could.

So we decided to take Presley Mae to her first series of concerts. A place where she could do her most favorite thing...dance. And dance. And dance. And shimmy a little bit too.

For the next series of pictures, let me set the stage.

The concert we were attending was in the very back of Bison Witches. It was smoky, crowded, and hot. So we opted to watch the concert outside... Until Presley was trying to eat gravel and cigarettes.

I mean, I am all about building up your immune system but that is taking it a bit too far.

So once she understood she couldn't eat the things off the ground she started to dance. And I mean dance. Like "drop it to the ground" kind of dancing. (She must have learned that from her daddy.) Then she didn't want to stand still or be held, so we resorted to option 2...

Put her in the window to watch the band. And it just so happens as we did the band began singing a song with 50% of the lyrics were "baby". So she stood outside the windows with her head peaking through, as if to say "I'm with the band, guys". And the entire audience started taking pictures of her and the lead singer as he came over to serenade her. It was precious. And she stole the show for that song and about 45 minutes after the show. Everywhere we went people would stop us and say, "Oh that is the baby from the window. She was such a little ham". And of course, the lead singer wanted a picture with his "biggest fan".

Fast forward 15 years and her daddy and I will be yelling at her to get down from the window and quite behaving like a "groupie".

Can't wait for that argument...
