A little childlike insight...

At what point do we lose our inability to completely not care what someone says or thinks about us?

When does that peer pressure begin to set in?

At what age do we begin to care more about what other people are doing? Or wearing? Or saying?

I love the age that Presley is right now. She doesn't have a care in the world. She doesn't care if she has snot running down her face, she still wants to kiss you. She doesn't care if her hair is permanatly stuck in the pig tail position after she takes them out, she still wants everyone to look at her. She doesn't care that she just fell down the little hill in our backyard and everyone laughed at her, because she just laughed right along with us. She doesn't care that she can't read a book and she holds it upside down and everyone looks at her like she is crazy.

She doesn't care. And I mean DOES NOT CARE. One bit.

And I love it. And I want that careless attitude. And those pig tails...
